Marine Detailing — Fort Worth & DFW

Your Boat Takes a Beating.
We Put It Back.

North Texas sun, heat, and water are hard on gelcoat. Oxidation, waterline staining, faded fiberglass, mildewed vinyl — this is what boats look like when they've been skipped on maintenance. We handle all of it, at your location or ours.

Gelcoat Restoration

Strip chalky oxidation and restore the original gloss and color depth to fiberglass hulls.

Corrosion Prevention

Eliminate algae, mineral deposits, and waterline staining that degrade fiberglass and metal over time.

Interior Detailing

Vinyl seats, carpet, cabin surfaces, and cockpit areas cleaned and conditioned stem to stern.

Stainless & Brightwork

Polished railings, cleats, and hardware protected against pitting, rust staining, and discoloration.

We Come to Your Dock

Most of our marine services are mobile — we come to your slip, dry storage facility, marina, or driveway. You don't haul the boat anywhere. We bring everything we need and work around your schedule and the facility's rules.

Gelcoat Restoration Is Shop-Only

Heavy oxidation removal, multi-stage compounding, and polishing require a controlled environment to do correctly. This work is completed at our 6925 E Lancaster Ave facility in Fort Worth. Everything else — wash, interior, vinyl, wax — can be done at your location.

Bass Boats to Yachts

We work on all vessel types: bass boats, center consoles, pontoons, cruisers, cabin boats, and yachts. Jet skis handled separately — see pricing below. Pricing is per foot so you pay for your actual boat, not a generic package built for a different size.

Questions before booking? Call (817) 532-6904 or book online. Most quotes for standard work can be given over the phone with boat length and last detail date.

Gelcoat Restoration

When Your Hull Goes
Chalky & Faded

Oxidation is the most common — and most reversible — form of boat damage. UV exposure breaks down the surface of gelcoat over time, leaving a chalky, dull finish that no amount of regular washing can fix. The good news: in most cases the gelcoat doesn't need to be repainted. It needs to be mechanically restored.

Gelcoat Revitalization is a shop-only service completed at our 6925 E Lancaster Ave facility in Fort Worth. Heavy compound work requires a controlled environment to achieve a consistent finish.

  1. 1

    Complete Wash & Decontamination

Full exterior wash and dry before any correction work. Waterline buildup, algae, and surface contaminants are removed first so we're working on clean fiberglass, not grinding debris into the surface.

  2. 2

    Marine Compound — Oxidation Removal

High-speed buffing with marine compound strips the chalky, UV-damaged layer from the hull, stern, and rub rails. For severe cases, wet sanding precedes compounding to break through deep oxidation. This is the step that takes hours and machines — it's not DIY work.

  3. 3

    Multi-Stage Polish

After compound, a multi-stage polish removes any buffer marks or micro-scratches left by the compound stage, and brings the gelcoat to its full gloss. This is what makes the difference between a dull "cleaned" look and a proper restoration.

  4. 4

    UV Marine Wax Seal

A UV-blocking marine wax is applied as a final protective layer to slow future oxidation and protect the restored gelcoat against North Texas sun. We can also apply a Flight Shield protective coating for multi-year protection on request — or follow up with a ceramic coating for the longest-lasting surface protection available.

  5. 5

    Stainless & Brightwork Polish

Railings, cleats, and hardware are cleaned and polished as part of the revitalization service. A boat with restored gelcoat and dull, spotted hardware looks incomplete — this is included at no additional charge.

Common Questions

Boat Detailing Near Fort Worth

How long does a full boat detail typically take?

The timeline depends on vessel size and the level of oxidation. A standard interior and exterior deep clean for a 20-foot boat typically takes 4 to 6 hours. Full gelcoat restoration and ceramic coating can take 2 to 3 days to allow for proper curing and product performance.

Can you remove heavy oxidation from a fiberglass hull?

Yes. We specialize in multi-stage high-speed buffing and polishing to remove chalky oxidation from fiberglass hulls. By restoring the gelcoat rather than repainting, we can often save boat owners 70 to 90 percent compared to the cost of a new painted finish. Most hulls that look too far gone are still fully restorable.

How much does boat detailing cost in Fort Worth?

Boat detailing in Fort Worth starts at $10 per foot for a standard wash and vacuum on smaller vessels. A full deluxe detail starts at $30 per foot, and gelcoat revitalization for heavily oxidized hulls starts at $30 per foot with additional costs for wet sanding when the oxidation is severe. The two biggest cost drivers are vessel length and how long it's been since the last professional detail.

Do you offer mobile boat detailing or do I need to bring it to the shop?

We offer both. Mobile service is available at your dock, marina slip, driveway, or dry storage facility throughout Fort Worth and the DFW area. Gelcoat revitalization and ceramic coating services are completed at our Fort Worth facility on Lancaster Ave to ensure a controlled, dust-free environment and the best results.

How often should I have my boat professionally detailed?

We recommend a professional detail every 6 months. At minimum, schedule a thorough cleaning and sealant application before the summer season and again before winter storage. North Texas UV and heat accelerate gelcoat oxidation faster than most other regions — consistent maintenance is the most cost-effective way to protect your investment year-round.
